Developed to celebrate and share the rich heritage of this vibrant community, TwillQuest promises an immersive experience through 13 significant historical buildings and landmarks nestled on the north side of Twillingate.
TwillQuest offers both locals and visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the captivating stories and heritage that have shaped Twillingate into the beloved destination it is today. From quaint cottages to storied landmarks, participants will embark on a journey through time, guided by the touch of their fingertips.
The heart of TwillQuest lies in its innovative approach to storytelling. Visitors will encounter signs strategically erected throughout the designated route, each adorned with a QR code. By simply scanning these QR codes with their smartphones, participants will be seamlessly transported to a multimedia web page brimming with fascinating tales, historical insights, and captivating visuals, offering a deeper understanding of each location’s significance.
Or, if you prefer, guided walking tours are available beginning at 10 AM and 2 PM Monday through Friday. Follow your knowledgable tour guide for a 90 minute, 1.5km hike and get to know the history of our beautiful waterfront! (Reservations required for guided tour)
