The Rockcut Trails is a system of breathtaking, exceptionally well maintained hiking trails located along the coastline of Twillingate Island. These trails are a legacy carved out by our community’s ancestors. Whether you’re getting ready to hike, bike, trail run, or explore, Rockcut has 15 scenic trails, with trails perfect for any level of hiker or outdoor enthusiast.
Rockcut Twillingate Trails currently feature five unique back wilderness camping platforms (10′ x10′) that are also ideal for sunrise yoga. Four platforms along the stretch from French Beach to Little Harbour and one at the Top of Twillingate Trail. Hike to one of these isolated camping spots and sleep under the stars while listening to the sounds of the ocean. Two artists’ easels along French Beach to Little Harbour offer a unique opportunity for travelling artists to sketch or paint plein air amongst the everchanging vistas.
